Meet the VetaPet team and their pets
In our online store, products are only a few clicks away, but behind them is a team of more than 50 professionals working in Finland and internationally.
Our team includes professionals for areas such as animal health and wellbeing, product selection, customer service, warehousing, technology, marketing and international business. We have different roles and backgrounds, but one thing unites us: the desire to make everyday life with pets a little easier.
Many people behind a single order
More people are involved in the journey of a single online order than customers may realise.
Before a product appears in our online store, someone has assessed whether it is suitable for our range and made sure the product information is in place. Our e-commerce developers ensure that the product is easy to find. Customer service helps with questions, and at the warehouse the order is picked, packed and sent on its way.
All of these tasks share the same goal: to make shopping with us as easy and reliable as possible.
Meet some of the people and pets behind VetaPet
Sara - Sales Director
What do you do at VetaPet?
I am responsible for sales across all our markets and sales channels.
What is the best part of your job?
I get to work with amazing people and I find my work genuinely meaningful and important.
What kind of a pet do you have?
Catch is a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd who loves training and playing more than anything.
What product would you recommend to other pet owners?
Catch has digestive issues, so he eats Specific CDD-HY, which has been a lifesaver for us. I also like Alvar Softies, as they are excellent training treats.
Annika - CEO
What do you do at VetaPet?
My job is to make sure our team has the best possible conditions to succeed in their work and to deliver on our customer promise in practice: We help you take the best possible care of your pet.
What is the best part of your job?
People and dogs bring the most joy to my days. It is incredibly rewarding to see how wholeheartedly our team works to support pet health.
What kind of pets do you have?
Herbert is a 3-year-old Standard Poodle and a true butler. Always present, always ready and always very polite - unless there is an opportunity to steal something from the sample room at the office. Sisko is a 1-year-old Standard Poodle with a brilliant spirit. She is very enthusiastic and a little goofy. She is happy to do just about anything with her people, even if she does not always quite understand what is going on.
What product would you recommend?
Bellylabs Pre + Pro, a digestive supplement designed for daily use! Herbert in particular has always had a very sensitive stomach and gut and he has clearly benefited from daily use. His stool quality has improved significantly and episodes of loose stool have almost completely disappeared. At the very least, his stomach now handles the occasional unsuitable thing he manages to eat much better.

What do you do at VetaPet?
I pick and pack orders, unload and shelve incoming deliveries and work on project-based updates for the online store.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part is getting to alternate between physical work and desk work.
What kind of a pet do you have?
Didi is a 16-year-old cat. He is very talkative and demanding. He also likes sleeping in his fluffy bed under the sauna bench.
Kaisa - Category Director
What do you do at VetaPet?
Together with the team, I look after our product range, making sure that products stay in stock, our website provides comprehensive product information and that we offer everything needed to support pet health.
What is the best part of your job?
I am motivated by understanding our customers - both people and especially their furry companions. I find it rewarding to think about how the right products can improve the life of an unwell pet and help owners care for their pets even better, whether through the right diet, improved oral health with an effective toothpaste or the right supplement.
What kind of pet do you have?
Mori is a 3-year-old long-haired cat. Mori's favourite toy is a large plush fox that gets carried everywhere, from the bed at night to the front door during the day while waiting for the family to come home from work.
What product would you recommend?
Maxim cat malt is something we always keep in our home pet pharmacy. As a long-haired cat, Mori sometimes gets too much hair in her digestive tract, which can make her feel unwell and cause constipation or vomiting. Cat malt helps the hair move through her digestive system and helps prevent these problems. We also always keep Mori's favourite treat, Miamor Cat Cream malt paste, in the cupboard. It is also an excellent motivator for nail trimming and brushing.

What do you do at VetaPet?
I make sure our customer service team's everyday work runs as smoothly as possible and that our customers receive excellent, knowledgeable service. I also want to continuously develop our services by listening to customer wishes and feedback.
What is the best part of your job?
Alongside my fantastic colleagues, customer interactions bring joy and energy to my working days. It is wonderful when you can help a pet owner find exactly the right product for their pet, sometimes even solving challenges that have continued for years. Photo greetings of happy pets enjoying their products are especially heartwarming.
What kind of pets do you have?
At home - and sometimes at the office too - I have two Gordon Setters, Aino and Freya. At home, these ladies are true attention-seeking couch potatoes, but once we head outdoors, there is no stopping them! Some of our favourite activities include bikejoring and spending time in nature.
What product would you recommend?
AIKA Inupekt Forte. We always have this in the cupboard. It works quickly if digestive problems occur. We travel a lot with the dogs and I also give it preventively before trips. So far, our journeys have always gone smoothly without stomach problems!
Pets are part of our everyday lives
For many VetaPet employees, pets are much more than part of the job. They are family members, training partners, walking companions and sometimes the most enthusiastic participants in remote meetings.
Through our own pets, we are familiar with many situations that are part of everyday life for pet owners. We know what it is like to search for food that suits a sensitive stomach, come up with activities for an active dog or try to convince a cat that a new flavour is worth tasting.
Our pets remind us every day who we ultimately do our work for.

Although VetaPet operates online, we do not want to be a faceless online store. Behind every product, answer and dispatched parcel is a person doing their part towards a shared goal.
Our team of around 50 professionals continues to build a growing, international VetaPet - always with pet health and a good everyday life at the forefront.
