A complementary feed for dogs, cats, guinea pigs and other small pets with an increased need for vitamin C.
The need for vitamin C may increase in pets exposed to heavy physical or mental stress, such as working dogs, actively competing dogs or dogs that react strongly to changes in their environment. Illness or injury may also increase the requirement for vitamin C.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 990 mg/g
Guinea pigs:
½–1 measuring scoop per 1 litre of drinking water daily, or ¼ measuring scoop every other day mixed with feed. Pregnant guinea pigs have double the vitamin C requirement.
Dogs and cats:
¼ measuring scoop per 10 kg body weight per day, or according to veterinary recommendation.
Mix with food. The daily amount can be divided into two servings.
1 scoop = 1 ml = 0.8 g measuring spoon (contains approx. 800 mg vitamin C)
When dosing, vitamin C intake from other dietary sources must be taken into account. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
