Type II collagen is the main structural protein in articular cartilage, while hyaluronic acid is a key component of synovial fluid, contributing to lubrication and shock absorption. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and promotes collagen synthesis in cartilage, tendons, and connective tissues.
