Natural calendula flower to support skin, digestion, and urinary health in dogs and horses.

Chia de Gracia Calendula is a gentle, skin-friendly herb known for its wide-ranging benefits for both external and internal wellbeing. It supports the normal function of the digestive tract, intestinal flora, skin, mucous membranes, and urinary system.

Calendula contains saponins and carotenoids that help maintain skin integrity and support the regeneration of skin and mucosal tissue. It’s suitable for dogs or horses with dry, itchy skin, minor wounds, or insect bites, and is beneficial for sunburn-prone animals with light-colored muzzles. Its active compounds also contribute to gut health and may support lymphatic circulation when combined with cleavers.

It has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and also contains antioxidants, tannins, salicylic acid, essential oils, flavonoids, and polysaccharides that help maintain the body's natural immune function and digestive hygiene.

Calendula can also be used externally as a salve or poultice mixed with vaseline or clean fat, or as a rinse made from steeped flowers.

Not suitable for pregnant animals due to natural estrogen content. Contains small amounts of salicylic acid—4-day withdrawal period recommended before competitions. Not suitable for animals with allergies to Asteraceae plants.

Horses (500 kg): 2–5 tbsp per day
