Antiseptic, deep-cleansing mousse for the skin. Chlorhexidine helps control microbial overgrowth and restores the skin’s diverse bacterial balance.

DOUXO® S3 Pyo shampoo and mousse, designed for managing impure skin, contain both the patented Ophytrium and antiseptic chlorhexidine. Impure skin is often affected by microbial imbalance (dysbiosis). Chlorhexidine helps reduce bacterial overgrowth and harmful bacteria, restoring the skin's natural microbial diversity.

Alongside traditional treatment protocols based on repeated shampooing, the new DOUXO® S3 regimen can be used for dogs. This involves using the shampoo during the first application, followed by the mousse alone two to three times per week. The mousse is especially suitable for targeted treatment of localized skin issues. Due to its high chlorhexidine concentration, DOUXO® S3 Pyo Mousse is not recommended for cats.

Contains double the amount of the active ingredient Ophytrium compared to Douxo S3 Care shampoo.

Directions for Use

Antiseptic, deep-cleansing mousse for the skin. Chlorhexidine helps control microbial overgrowth and restores bacterial balance.

Brush the dog’s coat thoroughly and then gently against the grain. Apply the mousse to the skin and coat, massage in well, and let it dry. Once dry, you may brush the coat for a shiny finish. Repeat as necessary. Use according to your veterinarian’s instructions. A common recommendation is 2–3 applications per week for 3 weeks.
