Balanced energy content helps maintain optimal body weight, while L-carnitine promotes fat metabolism and lean muscle mass maintenance. Natural glucosamine and chondroitin further support healthy joints, while antioxidants neutralise free radicals. Manganese supports proteoglycan synthesis. Urinary pH below 6.4 and low RSS values for struvite and calcium oxalate contribute to urinary tract health.

Specific FJD Joint Support also contains psyllium husk, a soluble gel-forming fibre that helps regulate gastrointestinal function. Maintaining an optimal weight is especially important, as excess weight places stress on the musculoskeletal system. The diet is nitrogen-packed to protect its uniquely high EPA and DHA content.
