For optimal effect, it is recommended that BIOBAK is added to water and that the mixture is allowed to stand at room temperature for a few hours before it is given to the animals. In this way, Enterococcus faecium is revived from its freeze-dried state for rapid multiplication even before it enters the intestine. Enterococcus faecium prevents pathogenic bacteria from attaching to the intestinal wall and also protects the intestine from mechanical irritation. In this way, it also promotes nutrient absorption. The use is justified in diarrhoea, as adjunctive treatment in connection with electrolyte treatment, etc., and always in antibiotic treatment as adjunctive treatment. Indications: Prevention of intestinal disorders in connection with weaning, animal movement, transport and travel, dietary changes and antibiotic treatment.
