Pheromone spray for cats to provide comfort during travel, changes, and stressful situations.

Contains synthetic feline facial pheromones with effects similar to those produced naturally by cats. Cats that feel safe and secure mark their territory by rubbing the area between their chin and ear on objects, people, or other cats. This releases pheromones that create a feeling of safety and contentment. The spray can be used to help prevent urine marking, discourage scratching, and calm cats in unfamiliar environments.

Usage instructions:

For preventing urine marking: Clean marked areas with mild detergent. Spray Feliway on the marked spots and other protruding areas of interest to the cat once daily until the cat begins to rub its head against treated surfaces. This may take from one week to a month. Avoid using cleaning or disinfecting products that may trigger marking. If results are not seen, consult a veterinarian.

In cases where marking occurs during heat, spray doorways and walls under windows once daily. In multi-cat households, treat marked areas 2–3 times daily and other potential areas once daily. For older cats, treat marked areas once daily for 5–6 weeks, then every 2–3 days as needed.

In a new environment, spray areas the cat may be interested in once daily to prevent marking.

For scratching, spray scratched areas once daily and provide an appropriate scratching post nearby.

To calm cats in unfamiliar places: For carriers, spray twice about 15 minutes before placing the cat inside. For cars, spray the travel area 3–4 times before departure. For catteries, spray corners of the cat’s enclosure daily before placing the cat inside. Continue until the cat begins to rub its head on treated areas.

Important: Do not spray while the cat is present. Do not spray directly on the cat. The effect lasts about 2–5 hours.
