Sterile wound dressing designed to support wound healing. The absorbent layer is made of natural viscose and coated with a non-adherent polyethylene layer, preventing it from sticking to the wound. The inner layer is impregnated with a small amount of honey- and glycerol-based solution, making the pad slightly moist.

Contains pure honey produced under controlled conditions, ensuring no pesticide residues and consistent quality. The honey is rich in enzymes, including glucose oxidase, which supports natural cleansing and creates a favorable environment for wound healing. The permeable coating allows wound exudate to be absorbed into the inner layer.

Usage:

Clean the wound if necessary. Open the package by pulling at the notch and place the pad directly over the wound. Fix the dressing with a self-adhesive porous tape or gauze. Remove carefully after one or at most two days and replace with a new Vetramil Pad if needed.

Do not use if allergic to honey. Discontinue use and consult a veterinarian if unexpected reactions occur. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or not properly sealed. Do not reuse a pad or resterilize an opened package. Continuous treatment of the same wound should not exceed 30 days.
