Chia de Gracia CdG Zinc for Dogs 200 g
Organic zinc chelate for dogs.
NOTE! NEW RECIPE AND COMPOSITION
CdG ZINC is a complementary feed designed to supplement a dog’s zinc intake as part of a balanced diet.
CdG ZINC contains organic amino acid chelated zinc in a natural and highly absorbable form.
Zinc is a trace element that dogs need daily from their diet. It is present in all body tissues and is involved in the function of several enzymes, as well as in the formation of proteins and collagen. Zinc supports normal growth and development, as well as tissue renewal.
Zinc is part of the normal structure of the skin, coat and claws. Adequate zinc intake is often reflected in coat quality and the dog’s overall appearance. Thinning of the coat or changes in coat quality may sometimes be linked to the overall diet, in which zinc also plays its own role.
Zinc requirement
A dog’s zinc requirement varies depending on size, age and activity level. Sufficient intake of trace elements is especially important for growing, pregnant and lactating dogs, as well as highly active individuals.
CdG ZINC supplements a dog’s zinc intake as part of comprehensive trace element nutrition.
The carrot powder used in the product contains natural beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A, which is part of the normal nutritional support for the skin and mucous membranes. Sweet carrot powder makes the product easy to feed.
Organic form
CdG ZINC contains zinc in an organic form, as a glycine chelate, where the zinc is bound to an amino acid.
The organic form resembles a natural structure
This form resembles the way many trace elements also occur in natural nutrition. In organic form, the trace element is bound to an amino acid, making it different from traditional inorganic mineral compounds, where the trace element occurs as a simple mineral salt.
Organic trace elements are often the preferred choice in mineral feeding when the aim is to provide trace elements in a balanced and highly absorbable form.
