When should Canius Acidophilus be used?
Canius Acidophilus is intended for the prevention of digestive disturbances, such as diarrhoea, as well as for use during and after such episodes. It is suitable for short-term support in acute situations when an effective course is needed to help restore the balance of the dog’s intestinal flora.

A dog’s intestinal balance can also be challenged by various everyday situations. A course of Acidophilus may be beneficial, for example, in connection with diarrhoea or dietary changes, after a course of antibiotics or sedation, during stressful situations, when travelling, or in other situations that disrupt the dog’s normal routine.

Why is intestinal well-being important for dogs?
Intestinal well-being is an important part of a dog’s overall health and well-being. The gut microbiota is not only involved in digestion, but is also linked to, for example, immune function and, through the gut–brain axis, the functioning of the nervous system.

How long can Canius Acidophilus be used?
Canius Acidophilus is intended for use in courses, and a 4-week course is recommended.
