ROYAL CANIN® Giant Starter Mother & Babydog dry food is specifically developed to support the nutritional needs of new mother dogs and their puppies. The feed is suitable for adult bitches of very large dog breeds with a weight over 45 kg, and for their puppies during weaning up to 2 months of age.

This tailor-made composition is specially adapted to meet the high energy needs of your very large female bitch, while promoting the healthy development of the puppies, even when they belong to large litters.

It also contains a complex, including vitamins C and E, which can help support the development of the immune system.

The feed contains beneficial prebiotics and highly digestible proteins that help support a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota (intestinal flora) and good digestion.

ROYAL CANIN® Giant Starter Mother & Babydog is enriched with Omega 3 fatty acids which can support brain development in young puppies.

The food pieces in ROYAL CANIN® Giant Starter Mother & Babydog are easy to mix with water. The mixture gives a tasty porridge-like consistency which is ideal for puppies during weaning.

Already after the first 8 weeks, the puppies will need a different feed that is specially adapted to meet the nutritional needs during the upcoming growth phase. At this stage you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® Giant Puppy – a dry food that helps support their high growth rate.
