VetaPet was founded in 2017 at the reception of the Joensuu-based veterinary clinic, Kivuton. We realized how difficult it was for both us and our customers to find and purchase suitable products for supporting pet health issues and other special needs. For example, veterinary diets and supplements designed for allergy management are not available in every local store, making it challenging to care for a pet’s health concerns.

When our clinic started running out of shelf space, we experimented with selling veterinary diets online. It turned out that there was demand across Finland for an easily accessible, pet health-focused selection.

What can I buy from VetaPet?

Our pet food selection includes products from 500 brands and are selected to make sure we can cover dogs, cats and other pets needs. A mixture of vet specialty, every day foods, treats and chews are included. We also stock pet accessories.

You can search for products based on your pet’s specific needs (e.g., acid reflux, diarrhea, liver disease support, allergies) – and our customer service team is always ready to help you find the best products for your pet’s health.

How quickly will I receive my order?

You should receive your order within 3-5 business days. We pick and pack all orders received by midday within the same day, orders received after midday will be picked and packed during the following day at the latest.
