The dog food ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog is specially developed to support the nutritional needs of new mother dogs and their puppies. The dry food is suitable for adult bitches of large breeds weighing between 26-44 kg, as well as for their puppies during weaning up to 2 months of age.

This tailor-made feed is specially adapted to meet the high energy needs of your adult bitch while supporting the healthy development of the lactating puppies, even when they belong to large litters.

It also contains a complex, with vitamins C and E, which can help support the development of the immune system.

The feed contains beneficial prebiotics and highly digestible proteins that help support a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota (intestinal flora) and good digestion.

ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog is enriched with Omega 3 fatty acids which can support brain development in young puppies.

The food pieces in ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Starter Mother & Babydog are easy to mix with water. The mixture gives a tasty porridge-like texture which is ideal for puppies during weaning.

Already after the first 8 weeks, the puppies will need a different feed that is specially adapted to meet the nutritional needs during the upcoming growth phase. At this stage you can switch to ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Puppy which is available as both dry and wet food.
