Purpose:

This wound spray can be used as a cleaning product in all stages of wound healing.

The active ingredient in all Vetericyn® products is the broad-spectrum antimicrobial hypochlorous acid (HOCl). All Vetericyn products are completely harmless to healthy tissue and safe to ingest or lick. Vetericyn products can be used for all animal species, including exotic pets and puppies. The product is safe to use near eyes and mucous membranes. Withdrawal period: 0 days. The effectiveness of hypochlorous acid against multidrug-resistant bacterial strains and even biofilm has been demonstrated in several studies. Hypochlorous acid is effective on contact against all common bacteria that cause skin and wound infections (Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa); multidrug-resistant microbes (e.g., MRSA, VRE), fungi, yeasts, and even some viruses, as well as bacterial spores.
