To support kidney function in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and to reduce the formation of oxalic stones. Kattovit Feline Diet - RENAL has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content by using high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition.

High protein levels can have a damaging effect on the kidneys. The key factor is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. In contrast to conventional food, only about half of the energy in Kattovit Kidney/Renal comes from protein. The addition of potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on the urine and can therefore prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). The phosphorus and sodium levels are reduced.
