This diet contains high levels of Omega-3 from fish, which help to naturally reduce inflammation in the joints. Alongside these are other cartilage-supporting nutrients including hydrolysed collagen peptides, ß-1,3/1,6-glucans, chondroitin sulphate, and manganese, which activates cartilage-producing enzymes. Antioxidants such as vitamins E and C help protect cartilage from oxidative damage.
To help reduce pressure on joints, the food contains moderate calorie levels and added L-carnitine, which supports fat metabolism and weight management. This is especially important for dogs with reduced mobility.
The recipe is also packed under nitrogen, which helps preserve the delicate Omega-3 fatty acids, ensuring their effectiveness is maintained through shelf life.
