Specific FCD-L Crystal Management Light
Dry food for cats to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones, formulated for overweight or obesity-prone cats. The diet provides urine undersaturated or slightly saturated with struvite and calcium oxalate, reducing the risk of new stone formation. Reduced magnesium and phosphorus levels help minimise recurrence of struvite crystals. Urine pH below 6.4 dissolves existing struvite and minimises new formation. Highly digestible ingredients ensure optimal nutrient absorption while reducing stool volume. EPA and DHA support healthy skin, coat and joints.
Specific FCD-L Crystal Management Light is particularly suitable for adult cats with low activity or a tendency to gain weight, thanks to its moderate energy content and inclusion of psyllium and beet pulp for digestive health. Dividing the daily ration into 3–4 meals helps prevent postprandial urine pH rise. Not recommended for kittens under 6 months, pregnant or lactating cats, or in cases of concurrent use of urinary acidifiers, metabolic or renal acidosis.
