VetaPet is the international brand name for the Finnish e-commerce company Kivuton, founded in 2017 at the Kivuton Veterinary Clinic in Joensuu, eastern Finland. Early on, we realized how difficult it was for both us and our customers to find and purchase the right products for treating pet illnesses and special needs. For example, veterinary diets and supplements developed to support allergy treatments are not available in regular stores, making pet healthcare more challenging.

When Kivuton’s clinic began running out of shelf space, we started selling veterinary diets online. It quickly became clear that there was high demand for an easily accessible selection focused on pet health. In early 2025, we expanded across the Baltic Sea and launched VetaPet in Sweden to help more pets live longer and healthier lives.
